Hee Haw

These photos of Riley in the corn field remind me of the show "Hee Haw". We only had a few minutes to snap a few pics before the rain came. It was thundering and lightening while we were out there, and we were next to a good sized tree....so we didn't tarry!

Lots Of Photos Today

From the 2008 Beaufort Water Festival Parade. It's almost embarrassing to say that this was Riley's very first parade, and he, of course, thoroughly enjoyed it. Mom actually got a shot of him smiling. When I asked why he wouldn't smile for me, he said "because you always want to take TWO!". I'm thinking he means that I just never get enough. Ah well, I can't say he's wrong.

It's Been A While...

I haven't updated this blog in forever, it seems. I've not taken that many pictures this summer, but I have taken a few. Here are a couple of Riley having fun in a self-made puddle. He played in that puddle for hours. So much for the hole dad had filled in with sand. The blue band is Riley's "Ear Band It" that he wears whenever he is playing in the water/swimming. It's to help keep his silicone ear plugs in. Oh, the joys of tympanostomy tubes in the summertime, but thankfully he hasn't had any ear infections since getting them!
